The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
