The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
